Description
Bacitracin is active against gram-positive bacteria. Most gram-negative bacteria are resis-tant. It interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis by blocking the function of the lipid carrier molecule that transfers cell wall subunits across the cellmembrane. Toxic to plant cells
