When used in conjunction with an adhesive seal \u2013 for instance the\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">qPCR Adhesive Seal<\/a>\u00a0(4ti-0560) \u2013 and a thermal cycler heated lid, the pad enhances the adhesion between the seal and the PCR plate. This in turn improves results by reducing sample evaporation.
